The United States Army North, founded in 1943, is a formation of the United States Army Service Component Command of United States Northern Command that is garrisoned in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

In 1948, the insignia was changed to its current one with an outline of a mosque to represent Morocco and North Africa, where they were stationed during 1943 when they were formed.
