Verem

Brand

Something Missing?

Verem was founded in 1984 as a sub-division of French model car manufacturer Solido. After purchasing Solido in 1980, Majorette started Verem four years later, naming the company after Majorette founder Emile Veron. Verem focused primarily on re-editions of 1970s Solido models. Verem also issued limited edition resin models in 1994.

From 1984, Solido used the Verem brand to re-issue their old toys at a premium price aimed at collectors. This continued after Solido production moved to China around 1999, with Verem's still manufactured in France for a few years. (Rowland Hill)
