Vert Wheeler is the protagonist of Mattel's animated series "AcceleRacers" voiced by Andrew Francis.

As a team member of the Teku faction, Vert Wheeler cycles through vehicles Deora II, Power Rage, an unidentified purple motorcycle, Nightlife, and Reverb in the series. Though two years have passed since the events of the World Race, Vert is still basking in his victory, and believes himself to be a more capable leader than Nolo Pasaro. He is initially oblivious to the real threat the Racing Drones pose to humanity until Gig summons him and his fellow World Race veterans for combat against the mechanoids. However, as Vert's self-esteem deteriorates with every mounting loss to the Racing Realms, he has to decide if he has what it takes to be an AcceleRacer. 

Trivia

• As a visual nod to the character's name, Mainframe Entertainment animated Vert's shoe treads to spell out his own name. 
• Vert's mother is referenced throughout the series, though it is never elaborated upon if she divorced Jack Wheeler or is deceased. The series would have presumably explored this plot point had it continued.
