Whizzwheels was Corgi's equivalent of Matchbox's Superfast, launched in 1970 when Husky were rebranded as Corgi Juniors. The name was also used for larger models, competing with Matchbox Speed / Super Kings. Both companies launched these faster wheels, on thinner axles, to compete better with Hot Wheels.
