Vanguards Rover 3500 (SD1)

The Rover SD1 must be one of the more commonly modelled British cars, having feaured in both contemporary toy ranges and more recent collectables ranges. The Vanguards edition has been used for a variety of issues, from basic private cars to Rallying and Police liveries. All appear to be of the top 3.5 Litre V8 models, albeit in a variety of trim levels including Efi and Vitesse, with accurate detailing such as the addition of overriders to bumpers, rear spoilers, and different levels of chrome.

As the SD1 was a popular Police car from Launch through until the late 1980s, it is unsurprising that this model has been used to depict a vast variety of police liveries, each seeming to have different roof mounted lights attached to reflect the variations found in real life.
