Something Missing?

Earl William "Madman" Muntz was an Chicago-area businessman and engineer. He sold and promoted cars and consumer electronics in the United States from the 1930s until his death in 1987.

In 1950 Muntz bought the sports car operation from Kurtis for $200,000. Muntz made changes to the original design, the most obvious being a 13-inch increase in wheelbase thus making the car, now renamed the Muntz Jet, into a true four-seater.
